Pharma training in Switzerland

Located where the Swiss, French and German borders meet, Basel in Switzerland was the venue for a training course this week for a pharmaceutical company. The full day event used the company's own publications to illustrate the key concepts in the critical appraisal of research papers. Our bespoke courses can be tailored to the exact requirements of the customer. For example, we are happy to replace our own teaching materials with company materials and sign confidentiality agreements. We never reuse bespoke materials. So if you are looking for bespoke training instead of a generic course, get in touch. Collaborate with us for the perfect training course!

Time to refresh research skills in Zurich

Today The Critical Appraisal Company was in Zurich, Switzerland, delivering a critical skills training update to senior managers of a pharmaceutical company. Critical appraisal is a vast topic area and it's important to revisit even basic concepts regularly in order to not overlook areas where weaknesses in research methodology may arise. Indeed it's only by being constantly challenged that we all can recognise areas where we need to improve. The format of the training update was interactive, with questions being posed on a range of topics. Examples of strengths and weaknesses were gleaned from a range of clinical papers.

Improving critical appraisal skills in Geneva

The scenic Jiva Hill Park Hotel situated at the foothills of the Jura Mountains facing the majestic Mont Blanc was the venue for our latest bespoke training event. Senior staff of a pharmaceutical company were brought together from all over Europe for an intensive training day in critical appraisal knowledge and skills. Everybody was already familiar with reading clinical research papers so the focus was on improvement and banishing any areas of uncertainty. Company research papers were used to illustrate key concepts. At the end of the long day everybody headed off to Geneva airport with heads bursting with knowledge and plenty of ideas on how to improve the use of clinical papers within the company.
