The Critical Appraisal One Day Course is a comprehensive guide to critical appraisal. There are 3 components to the course.

Before the course

You are given instant access to the Critical Appraisal Online Course as soon as a reservation is made. The online course contains the core learning materials. Although it is not essential, viewing the online material before the course will maximise the learning experience.

At the course

During the day course, you will be guided through a series of topics by the course tutor. Important topics from the online course are covered in depth. The classroom course is interactive. You will answer questions using a digital wireless handset and complete short exercises in the handout, all designed to improve your critical appraisal skills and illustrate key learning points.

After the course

After the course, you will have access to the Critical Appraisal Online Course for a further 3 months to help consolidate your new knowledge and skills. You are also given a copy of 'The Doctor's Guide to Critical Appraisal', 3rd edition, which contains more information and exercises.
