Can you tell me whether FRANZCP written exams is equivalent to MRCPsych exam. If so which part of MRCPSYCH. If somebody wants to take online course- which one is suitable?

My understanding is that the FRANZCP exams are broadly equivalent to the MRCPsych but to get FRANZCP there are additional training requirements over and above what is required to get MRCPsych. I'm not sure of the exact exam format of the FRANZCP exams but I don't think they are the same format as the MRCPsych exams, so online courses may not be as useful as they are for MRCPsych exams.

We do have lots of Australian psychiatrists taking the online critical appraisal course as it covers the material required. I received a feedback comment from one of your peers which reads: "I found the course very useful. We also have a course event in Sydney on 24 October 2009 if you prefer to cover the entire subject in a classroom setting instead of just using the online course.
