Excellent and informative workshop which removed a lot of the mystique associated with the topic.
I thought the presentation was well paced. The coverage of research studies and examples was really well done. I am thrilled that I have a better understanding of the numbers typically contained in research papers.
I found the whole workshop to be valuable. It felt as if the two days were gone in an instant. The introduction to EBM, followed by an explanation of different research methodologies was finally brought together with the practice in critiquing various research papers.
I consider this workshop to have been a premium event of extremely high quality that was enjoyable, informative and provides the tools for long term benefit.
The speaker made a topic i have found difficult in the past enjoyable and understandable.
The layout of the workshop was very conducive to learning and the speaker was clearly engaging in what could otherwise be a dry topic. Overall one of the best run and organised workshops.
The speaker was able to convey all the theory and practice, including statistics, in an engaging manner that ensured comprehension by participants.
Dr Gosall had excellent presentation skills and the ability to inject some humour into a dry subject; I enjoyed the frequent opportunities to apply learning to practice through the review of papers and the questions/exercises in the course notes.
Excellent well-presented workshop which covered a large amount of information. Excellent idea to have web-based modules to access for the next six months to review and consolidate.
Finding previously intimidating research writing now accessible. I enjoyed the ‘hot house’ style of presentation where information was constantly reinforced and built on.
