Critical appraisal workshop in New Zealand
20th Aug 2012 | Workshop
We have been invited by PaCCSC (Palliative Care Clinical Studies Collaborative) to run a pre-conference 'Critical Appraisal Workshop' to coincide with the ANZSPM 2012: Collaboration In Palliative Care Conference in Queenstown, New Zealand.
The workshop takes place at the Crowne Plaza Queenstown on 4 September 2012. The Australian and New Zealand Society of Palliative Medicine (ANZSPM) is a specialty medical society. Its members are medical practitioners who provide care for people with a life threatening illness.
ANZSPM facilitates professional development and support for its members, promotes the practice of palliative medicine and advocates for those who work in the field of palliative medicine. Part of ANZSPM’s core business is to provide a variety of continuous professional development activities to support and educate medical practitioners working in, or with an interest in, palliative medicine.
The Palliative Care Clinical Studies Collaborative (PaCCSC) is a research group that consists of a Coordinating Agency; Flinders University of South Australia, a governance structure including a Management Advisory Board (MAB), and a number of organisations that will be collaboratively involved in Phase 3 and Phase 4 clinical medication studies.
