Clinical papers workbook updated

 Tuesday 29 March 2016    Books | Workshop

Clinical papers workbook updated

The second edition (2016) of the clinical papers workbook has been published by The Critical Appraisal Company. The most obvious change is that the paper size has been reduced from A3 to A4 but there are also innovative changes inside based on our experience of teaching critical appraisal to delegates of all abilities. The greater use of colour and labels has allowed us to offer more content in less space. Important components of clinical papers are highlighted for reading and discussion during workshops. Based on feedback from delegates, an extra randomised controlled trial and an extra meta-analysis are now included to offer more practice of these important study designs. The new workbook has been trialled in recent events and has been received enthusiastically. It is important for us to know that our course materials are the best available anywhere. As before, the workbook is exclusively available to delegates attending the Critical Appraisal Workshop.

Critical Appraisal short exercises workbook updated

It's a new year and time for an update of the short exercises workbook we use in our Masterclass and Workshop events. We make extensive use of our materials and use the feedback gathered from delegates to make improvements. Sometimes we need to make an exercise clearer; sometimes we need to write a new exercise to illustrate a concept better. Every exercise in the workbook has a purpose and has to earn its place! There's no room for duplication or boring exercises! This latest edition of the workbook will be used in all our Masterclass and Workshop events in 2016. A bigger update of the clinical papers workbook is due in spring.

Bespoke Critical Appraisal Dubai workshop is the largest ever

Our return to Dubai this month for a bespoke workshop was met with a record breaking attendance of over 250 delegates. We're happy to teach groups large and small and this was a large group! Indeed over the years we've developed a range of teaching approaches that help to keep everyone engaged. The doctors and medical students were taken through the knowledge and skills of critical appraisal over two intensive days. A custom workbook with a range of exercises and clinical papers was used together with interactive digital handsets to quiz the audience. The large group of medical students in attendance was an encouraging sign that the skill of understanding evidence was being prioritised in the medical school curriculum. We've been asked to return to Dubai in 2016 for three workshops and one of the events will be for medical students only.

Multidisciplinary critical appraisalteaching in Birmingham

Thursday 11 June 2015    Bespoke course | Emergency medicine / ICU | Haematology | Microbiology

Multidisciplinary critical appraisalteaching in Birmingham

It was back to Birmingham today for another bespoke training session. Doctors, pharmacists and clinical laboratory staff from all over the country were brought together for a medical training day. Specialties represented included ICU, anaesthesia, haematology and microbiology. With more and more evidence published every year and increasing patient expectations, being able to identify the strengths and weaknesses of research is a skill every healthcare professional should master. The core knowledge is generic and applicable to research in every clinical specialty and profession. It’s only at the end of a critical appraisal when the discussion turns to clinical significance and the impact on patients that specialist knowledge about the current state of play is valuable. To underline the educational importance of the training, the event was accredited for CPD by the Royal College of Physicians.

Bespoke Critical Appraisal courses in Birmingham and London

Friday 05 June 2015    Bespoke course | Emergency medicine / ICU | Haematology | United Kingdom

Bespoke Critical Appraisal courses in Birmingham and London

This week The Critical Appraisal Company delivered two bespoke courses. First we ran a one day course for a group of ICU doctors in Birmingham. The next day we ran an evening meeting for a group of haematologists in London. Our bespoke critical appraisal courses are easy to organise and allow large numbers of doctors to be trained in the workplace. No time is spent travelling to a conference venue and study leave budgets are saved. We’re also flexible on the timing of the course. For example, we were happy to run an evening meeting so more doctors could attend after a normal working day. With all these benefits, it’s no wonder that our bespoke course service is an increasingly popular choice for groups of doctors.

Non-clinical skills training - Specialist Registrars in London

Non-clinical skills training - Specialist Registrars in London

Today we’ve been training doctors in a meeting at the Royal College of Surgeons, London. The training day for the Specialist Registrars is a regular event and aims to support their further development, enhancing non-clinical skills which are required to take leading roles in their speciality. Doctors need to keep their knowledge up-to-date and that means regularly reading and critically appraising journal articles so that their patients receive evidence-based care. The critical appraisal teaching session lasted half a day and included an overview of the key knowledge and skills needed to effectively appraise research articles. The time available to keep up with the research literature is always in short supply but hopefully our session will make reading papers a less arduous process.

Critical Appraisal Workshop returns to Dubai

Critical Appraisal Workshop returns to Dubai

The Critical Appraisal Workshop took place in Dubai, UAE, earlier this week. The event was attended by doctors of all grades from many clinical areas. The knowledge and skills of critical appraisal were taught on the first day using excerpts from clinical research papers before the focus moved to appraising complete clinical papers on the second day. As with all our events, the format of the workshop was interactive with many exercises and questions for the doctors to answer. For many in the audience, it was their first course on evidence-based medicine and many took the opportunity to clarify concepts and discuss their research projects with the tutor. The overall aim was to inspire and motivate everyone to read research papers to keep knowledge and skills up-to-date! Hopefully we succeeded!

Critical Appraisal Company - The enduring power of testimonials

Critical Appraisal Company - The enduring power of testimonials

As any successful company knows, word-of-mouth recommendations are the best form of advertising! We are grateful that many people study our critical appraisal courses following recommendations from colleagues. It reassures us that we're delivering what our customers want. How do other people decide? If you don't know anyone who has attended a course, how do you decide whether to attend? Many websites contain customer testimonials but therein lies a problem - can you trust the testimonials? It takes literally seconds to type a few favourable comments! This problem of trust is something we've tackled on this website by showing handwritten testimonials - and not just a few selective ones either! On the Critical Appraisal Masterclass and Critical Appraisal Workshop pages, you can read hundreds of original testimonials from our satisified customers, all collected anonymously at the end of classroom events. We hope they illustrate why we have a reputation for the best critical appraisal skills training courses! Now that's something to shout about!

Updated Critical Appraisal Company website design introduced

The criticalappraisal.com website has been given a makeover! The new logo is now in use throughout the site but the biggest change is behind the scenes. The new responsive design caters to the increasing number of people browsing on mobile phones and tablets. Pages automatically adjust to the size and orientation of smaller screens so that the text always remains readable. People browsing using high resolution display devices, such as the latest iPads and laptops, will also notice that the text and images on the website appear sharper. We've also taken the opportunity to review the infomation on the website. Pages are more concise and more tables and colour are used to break up longer pages. Taken together, we hope these changes make browsing the website an even better experience! Feedback is welcome via our helpdesk - get in touch!

Boosting critical appraisal knowledge and skills in Yorkshire

This week we've been running a bespoke critical appraisal workshop for dentists in Yorkshire, supported by Health Education Yorkshire and the Humber. A modern edge has been created with the addition of a purpose built conference centre. The two days event covered the entire subject from start to finish. As it was a bespoke event, dental research papers were used for practice and to illustrate key concepts. This is the advantage of bespoke events - the agenda can be tailored to the exact requirements of the audience. One of the feedback comments sums it all up: "The practical aspect of actually appraising the journals ourselves was very useful as it made us apply the theory we had learnt. The speaker was amazing, easy to understand and made such a difficult subject interesting and enjoyable. Would thoroughly recommend this course."

Critical Appraisal training in Doncaster

Today we finished the last of four bespoke training days for mental health professionals in the Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH). The venue was St Catherine's House, a grade II listed Victorian building set in beautiful grounds. It was originally built in 1838 as the home for the Banks family. The family sold it to the Ministry of Health in 1930 when it was turned into a 'mental institution'. Today it has a number of uses, including providing conference facilities. The training days were attended by a mix of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and occupational therapists. Most delegates were attending the critical appraisal training for professional development but there were also people involved with research and revising for exams. On each day we went through appraising the methods and results of clinical papers, to better understand how to identify the strengths and weaknesses of research. All the delegates received access to the Critical Appraisal Online Course to consolidate their learning and a CPD certificate for moving their practice forward.

Writing questions for critical appraisal exams requires a detailed knowledge of critical appraisal knowledge and concepts. This has been a thoroughly enjoyable task (!) and also given us an invaluable insight into the precision with which exam candidates must write their answers. Critical appraisal training in California

Today in San Francisco we delivered a training session on critical appraisal skills to delegates working in a major pharmaceutical company. As well as going over key concepts, delegates were taken through real research papers to put their skills into practice. Adopting an interactive approach is important as it helps to illustrate what can otherwise be difficult-to-grasp concepts. We produced a bespoke course booklet for this event which contained a range of short exercises to supplement the clinical papers. It was a short visit to sunny California but it was great to see the confidence in the room improve as the session progressed.

Evidence-based clinical research medicine in Barcelona

Thursday 29 May 2014    Bespoke course | Pharmaceutical | Spain

Evidence-based clinical research medicine in Barcelona

This week we were in Barcelona delivering training to a pharmaceutical company. This request followed a similar meeting for the same company in another country. Word-of-mouth recommendations are not just limited to our Masterclasses and Workshops - our bespoke events are also recommended widely! As with all our bespoke events, the agenda for the meeting was specifically focused on the needs of the delegates. Organising the bespoke event was by email and telephone conferences and it only took a matter of days before the event details were finalised. It was great to meet the delegates and improve their confidence reading clinical research papers.

Critical Appraisal in Athens

Friday 04 April 2014    Bespoke course | Greece

Critical Appraisal in Athens

We do get around a bit! This month one of our meetings was in Athens, Greece. The City of the Gods is also home to a number of companies involved with healthcare research. The Critical Appraisal Company was commissioned at short notice to provide training in understanding research and improving research. We developed a set of training materials to teach critical appraisal in our unique style and the meeting went very well! We had just enough time to have a quick look at the iconic pillars of the Parthenon before we flew home. A city everyone should visit!

Critical Appraisal appointment at the Royal London Hospital

Wednesday 05 February 2014    Bespoke course | Dentistry

Critical Appraisal appointment at the Royal London Hospital

We've just spent two days at the Royal London Hospital, thankfully as tutors rather than as patients! The Royal London Hospital was founded in 1740 and is now part of Barts Health NHS Trust. The hospital serves people living in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. Patients have free NHS access to some of the best clinicians in the country. We were invited to teach a group of professionals specialising in oral medicine, a tough specialty with tough exams! Our bespoke course was intense and a lot of ground was covered, as one would expect in an academic centre. The agenda for bespoke events is agreed with the course organiser and we aim to please! As well as workbooks, delegates were given access to the Critical Appraisal Online Course and a copy of the award-winning book, The Doctor's Guide to Critical Appraisal.

Beginning the new year with critical appraisal skills in Belgium

Tuesday 28 January 2014    Belgium | Bespoke course

Beginning the new year with critical appraisal skills in Belgium

After the festive break it was straight back to work for the team. We've been working with a pharmaceutical company to design a course to improve critical appraisal skills amongst senior employees. The one day event took place in Belgium and over fifty delegates attended. We spent the day understanding the core knowledge and concepts used in appraising papers and then practised on randomised controlled trials and meta-analyses. Face-to-face teaching allows us to offer a more personalised experience to the delegates. We're more than happy to answer questions as they arise and check everyone's understanding regularly. As a result we got excellent feedback from the workshop, with delegates starting the year with improved confidence in reading clinical papers. Job done!

Wednesday 20 November 2013    Bespoke course | Pharmaceutical | Switzerland

Time to refresh Critical Appraisal research skills in Zurich

Today The Critical Appraisal Company was in Zurich, Switzerland, delivering a critical skills training update to senior managers of a pharmaceutical company. Critical appraisal is a vast topic area and it's important to revisit even basic concepts regularly in order to not overlook areas where weaknesses in research methodology may arise. Indeed it's only by being constantly challenged that we all can recognise areas where we need to improve. The format of the training update was interactive, with questions being posed on a range of topics. Examples of strengths and weaknesses were gleaned from a range of clinical papers.

Updating critical appraisal skills in Bangkok

Tuesday 05 November 2013    Bespoke course | Pharmaceutical | Thailand

Updating critical appraisal skills in Bangkok

The capital city of Thailand was the location today for a critical appraisal skills update session we ran for a major pharmaceutical company. An overview of the steps involved in appraising research papers was followed by an interactive session discussing the strengths and weaknesses of randomised controlled trials and observational trials using a question-and-answer format. Observational interventional trials are prone to a wide range of weaknesses compared to gold standard randomised controlled trials but they provide real world data on the comparative effectiveness of different interventions and can add to the evidence base. There was just enough time to sample the culinary delights of Bangkok before heading home to England!

Critical appraisal lecture tour continues in Sydney

After a short flight from our training event in Brisbane, The Critical Appraisal Company landed in Sydney. A one day course was held for employees of the National Prescribing Service followed by a one day course for the Red Cross Blood Service. The weekend was spent at the InterContinental Sydney where we ran our 10th Critical Appraisal Workshop over two days. It's been an exhausting but exhilarating week! It always gives us immense satisfaction to see people understanding the language of critical appraisal and applying their skills on short exercises and clinical papers. This was the first time we used our new short exercises workbook and clinical papers workbook in Australia and the feedback comments were excellent! We're already planning our next workshop in Sydney in 2014. Enquiries are welcome for bespoke courses.

Evidence-based Critical Appraisal medicine training

Tuesday 15 October 2013    Bespoke course

Evidence-based Critical Appraisal medicine training

It's not just clinicians who benefit from the training we offer. This week we gave a talk to a group of commissioners in Birmingham about how to evaluate clinical evidence. Commissioners are in the unenviable position of having to decide which services to fund with a finite set of resources at their disposal. It is important that they are not swayed by evidence which is of poor quality or is misleading in some way. We guided the group on how to take a step-by-step approach to appraising research papers. It was a short but hopefully useful session that showed that there's more to reading a research paper than scanning the abstract.

Critical appraisal for pharmaceutical physicians in London

Monday 23 September 2013    Bespoke course | Pharmaceutical

Critical appraisal for pharmaceutical physicians in London

In association with The Critical Appraisal Company, the British Association of Pharmaceutical Physicians (BrAPP) ran a critical appraisal workshop at the Royal College of Pathologists, London. Everything pharmaceutical physicians do in the pharmaceutical industry is based upon evidence. Pharmaceutical physicians are involved in the development of clinical trial programmes, in ensuring that research is conducted to the highest standards of GLP, GCP and GMP and in the review and interpretation of numerous studies conducted with medicines, devices and new treatment interventions to ensure ever improving standards of healthcare. It is therefore of vital importance that pharmaceutical physicians are competent in the process of critical appraisal throughout their careers in pharmaceutical medicine as they review clinical trial protocols and plans, evaluate pharmacovigilance reports, prepare regulatory submissions to relevant authorities, prepare/advise on NICE submissions, advise colleagues and clinicians in the appropriate use of medicines and devices, approve promotional copy, shape stakeholder training programmes and advise on the review and preparation of commercial information including due diligence procedures. The critical appraisal workshop lasted two days and also covered the material examined in the DipPharmMed exam. Good luck to all the exam candidates!

Critical appraisal skills training in Hyderabad, India

Friday 24 May 2013    Bespoke course | India | Pharmaceutical

Critical appraisal skills training in Hyderabad, India

Hyderabad is the capital city of the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. During the 1990s the city emerged as a centre for pharmaceutical companies, earning it the title of India's pharmaceutical capital. This week it was the location of our latest Critical Appraisal Bespoke Course. Critical appraisal skills are important for medical writers in pharmaceutical companies, allowing them to accurately communicate the strengths and weaknesses of research findings to a wider audience. The training event over two days focused not only on covering the knowledge of critical appraisal using our short exercises workbook and The Doctor's Guide to Critical Appraisal book but also on the practical application of that knowledge. We always include practical work in our training events and this event was no exception. Delegates evaluated research evidence and presented their conclusions in an interactive session. The standard of the presentations improved as the delegates became more familiar with the language of critical appraisal and by the end of the event everyone was reading clinical papers with more confidence! It doesn't matter where in the world you are - if you need to improve your critical appraisal skills, we can help! Thanks to the team in Hyderabad for the wonderful hospitality!

Critical appraisal training in Dubai

Friday 12 April 2013    Bespoke course | United Arab Emirates

Critical appraisal training in Dubai

The Critical Appraisal Company ran another successful Critical Appraisal Workshop in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, this week. This was our eighth event in Dubai! The workshop continues to be a popular choice for continuing professional development activity. Over 150 doctors and nurses from a range of clinical specialties attended the training event. Many delegates had been recommended the workshop by their colleagues but were unable to get places on the sold out events last year. This was the first event to use our new critical appraisal workbook that we launched earlier this month. The response was great! We received many positive comments about the excerpts from clinical papers used in the workbook. The focus on completing exercises to make sure delegates understood the essential concepts was a refreshing change for many delegates more used to didactic teaching methods. The event was also the first to use interactive handset technology in Dubai. We’ve been using this technology in the UK and Ireland since 2004 but never before in Dubai. Again, the interactive component of the workshop was appreciated by the delegates. Due to demand, the workshop will be repeated later this year.

New critical appraisal course materials launched

 Thursday 04 April 2013    Masterclass | Workshop

New critical appraisal course materials launched

Today the postman delivered a very special package to our office! We took delivery of our brand new workbook that will be used in the Critical Appraisal Masterclass and Critical Appraisal Workshop. The workbook has doubled in size and is now in full colour, to make navigating it and reading it easier. However, the changes are not just cosmetic. We've listened to the feedback from our delegates and implemented every great idea! As a result, every page of the original workbook has been updated. The workbook is packed with more exercises than ever before. Over 50 excerpts from clinical papers are used to illustrate the key learning points to make critical appraisal easy to understand. References to The Doctor’s Guide to Critical Appraisal and the Critical Appraisal Online Course are included on every page. Both the award-winning book and access to the online course are included with course reservations. By not duplicating factual information from these two sources in the workbook, more room has been allocated to exercises. Our delegates love the interactive nature of our events and now that interactive element is significantly increased - no pun intended! It’s taken an incredible amount of time to perfect the workbook and we're very proud of the result. We can’t wait to see the reaction of delegates to the new learning materials! The new workbook will debut in the Critical Appraisal Workshops in Dubai and London later this month.

A lot of material was covered and all the delegates were given free access to the Critical Appraisal Online Course for three months to help consolidate their knowledge and skills, on the assumption that the Mayan calendar had got it all wrong!

Critical appraisal training for guideline writers

Monday 29 October 2012    Australia | Bespoke course | Guidelines

Critical appraisal training for guideline writers

We ran a bespoke critical appraisal course today for a group of people involved with writing healthcare guidelines. The National Prescribing Service in Australia provides practical tools and information about medicines, health conditions and medical tests, helping individuals make better decisions about their health and medicines and keep health professionals up to date with the latest evidenced-based information. One of the most important steps involved in writing any guideline is to appraise the research evidence to determine which findings should influence the recommendations. This involves understanding the strengths and weaknesses in research methods and how to calculate meaningful statistics from the results. The course today helped everyone to update their knowledge and skills and to have questions about the process of critical appraisal answered!

Author Dr Narinder Gosall accepted the award from BMA President, Professor Baroness Hollins.

bma medical book awards 2012 The BMA Medical Book Awards started in 1994 with the aim of encouraging and rewarding excellence in medical publishing. Books are judged on accuracy, appropriateness, quality of design and production, originality of content, approach and value for money. Prizes are awarded in 21 categories. Professor Averil Mansfield, Chairman of the BMA Board of Science, commented that it was “no mean feat to be shortlisted”, as they received several hundred individual entries for the awards. The Doctor's Guide to Critical Appraisal won in the Basis of Medicine category.

Dr Narinder Gosall said, "I am delighted that the book has been recognised by the British Medical Association. It was an honour to have been shortlisted by the BMA in such a competitive category but winning it was beyond my wildest dreams."

Dr Gurpal Gosall, co-author of the book, said, "We set out to write a book that would be the one-stop solution for everyone who reads clinical research papers. We already knew from our courses and workshops that we could teach critical appraisal knowledge and skills effectively. The challenge was to translate that experience into the form of a book. Over the years we've received a lot of positive feedback and encouragement about our unique and comprehensive approach. The BMA Medical Book Award is the icing on the cake!"

The programme included excerpts of the BMA reviews:

"I think this text is a great introduction to critical appraisal, a subject often not well-taught and where knowledge is sometimes assumed. It is an easy to read and short text. I particularly liked the chapter on presenting at a journal club which had some good practical advice. I would definitely recommend it. It is easy to dip in and out of to refresh on a specific topic."

"Critical appraisal is something I recognise to be important but is something I have not given priority to previously with so many other things to read about. Many texts on statistics and critical appraisal are very dry, but I was pleasantly surprised to find myself enjoying reading this book. It is very clearly written and explains the concepts very well. I found the section on interpreting results very useful and practical. This is an excellent review of principles of critical appraisal and more, easily accessible for busy professionals."

Critical appraisal training in San Francisco

Wednesday 27 June 2012    Bespoke course | Conference | United States

Critical appraisal training in San Francisco

We are in San Francisco this week running a training session at a conference. The conference delegates already have access to the Critical Appraisal Online Course so this bespoke event is entirely focused on rapidly appraising a collection of clinical papers. Giving delegates prior access to the core training materials is a popular option with bespoke events because conference time is a precious commodity. Delegates can study the online course at their leisure to learn the core knowledge and then use our tutor's expertise at the conference to improve their understanding. As the delegates know the basic facts, we can cover more advanced material in the training session. It's a win-win situation for everyone. And yes, the weather is better than back in the UK!

Critical appraisal for FCEM

Tuesday 05 June 2012    Emergency medicine / ICU

Critical appraisal for FCEM

The Fellowship Examination of the College of Emergency Medicine (FCEM) includes an assessment of critical appraisal knowledge and skills. In the academic section of the FCEM, the written paper consists of a series of questions exploring the candidate’s ability to critique and appraise a paper.

In the last year we've noticed a large number of FCEM candidates using our critical appraisal training resources to help them pass the exam. We have options for every budget and learning style. The Doctors' Guide to Critical Appraisal book is popular option. The book is considered by many to be mandatory reading for the FCEM. It is a comprehensive account of critical appraisal, with a unique approach to the subject, starting from first principles. The Critical Appraisal Online Course is a comprehensive multimedia resource. Presentations with audio narration, exercises and printable handouts are streamed directly to your computer. The Critical Appraisal Masterclass is an intensive course which covers the entire curriculum in one day. The Critical Appraisal Workshop lasts two days and is ideal for the FCEM as delegates practice appraising a range of clinical papers under supervision. The handy tips we give you make the FCEM simple to pass! Best of all, the Masterclass and Workshop include a copy of The Doctor's Guide to Critical Appraisal, access to the Online Course and use interactive digital handsets to test your understanding (without embarrassing you!), making the events unbeatable value for money.

"I have just found out I passed the FCEM critical appraisal exam having done both your online course and a weekend course in London. I am hugely grateful to the Superego Cafe Team for making critical appraisal interesting and do-able, with different formats for different types of learning. A big thank you!" - Helen Willis, Emergency Medicine

"I thoroughly enjoyed the course and felt that I had finally been taught it by someone who actually understood critical appraisal. I usually leave tutorials on critical appraisal more confused than I started. I have already recommended your course to friends and colleagues both in the UK and Ireland." - Niamh Collins, Emergency Medicine

"Many thanks for writing such an excellent book and for running an excellent online course. Both the book and the course makes it easy to understand statistics. I know at least six SpRs who read your book and passed the critical appraisal FCEM exam (which is one of the parts of exit exam in Emergency Medicine). This exam is quite tough and your book and the course help in understanding of the terms which makes it easy to write the applied answers." - Rajnish Mittal, Emergency Medicine

Critical appraisal training in Paris

Friday 18 May 2012    Bespoke course | France | Pharmaceutical

Critical appraisal training in Paris

We ran our first critical appraisal training event in Paris, France this week. The bespoke course was for an international group of senior medical managers of a pharmaceutical company. Managers from several European countries were brought together for an intensive day of evidence-based medicine training. The focus was on understanding the strengths and weaknesses of the latest research in their specialist clinical area. Bespoke courses like this allow organisations to benefit from the teaching provided by our company and use clinical papers of their choice to illustrate key concepts. By the end of the event several papers had been evaluated and the delegates had an improved understanding of the possible impact of the clinical papers.

Critical Appraisal Workshop breaks attendance record in Dubai

Today we completed a critical appraisal workshop in Dubai, UAE. This event was our biggest ever, with 200 doctors, dentists, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals learning the knowledge and skills of critical appraisal over two intensive days. We've held courses for senior medical staff before in Dubai which have received great feedback. This event was open to more professionals and proved to be very popular. There's a a great sense of satisfaction on our part knowing that a new cohort of healthcare professionals now feel comfortable reading research papers. Critical appraisal can be made difficult to understand but we aim to make it simple. The feedback we received after this critical appraisal workshop suggests we're succeeding where others have failed! We're planning to return to Dubai in October 2012 to repeat this workshop to give those who couldn't make it this time an opportunity to experience our unique approach.
