Training healthcare professionals in the Ministry of Health in UAE

This week we delivered a two day workshop on critical appraisal skills to the Ministry of Health UAE in the new Training and Development Centre in Sharjah, which is the third largest city (after Dubai and Abu Dhabi) in the United Arab Emirates.

Delegates came from a variety of professional backgrounds but everyone had the common goal of wanting to improve their confidence reading clinical research papers.

The event was interactive, with delegates completing a range of exercises to put their improved knowledge and skills to the test. Great hospitality by the organisers including al fresco dining in the sunny outdoors meant everyone was well looked after and could concentrate on the learning.

Delegates left the course having covered a large amount of material and having definitely earned their CPD certificates.
