Bespoke Critical Appraisal Dubai workshop is the largest ever

Our return to Dubai this month for a bespoke workshop was met with a record breaking attendance of over 250 delegates.

We're happy to teach groups large and small and this was a large group! Indeed over the years we've developed a range of teaching approaches that help to keep everyone engaged.

The doctors and medical students were taken through the knowledge and skills of critical appraisal over two intensive days. A custom workbook with a range of exercises and clinical papers was used together with interactive digital handsets to quiz the audience.

The large group of medical students in attendance was an encouraging sign that the skill of understanding evidence was being prioritised in the medical school curriculum.

We've been asked to return to Dubai in 2016 for three workshops and one of the events will be for medical students only.
