Improving critical appraisal skills in Geneva

The scenic Jiva Hill Park Hotel situated at the foothills of the Jura Mountains facing the majestic Mont Blanc was the venue for our latest bespoke training event.

Senior staff of a pharmaceutical company were brought together from all over Europe for an intensive training day in critical appraisal knowledge and skills. Everybody was already familiar with reading clinical research papers so the focus was on improvement and banishing any areas of uncertainty.

Company research papers were used to illustrate key concepts. At the end of the long day everybody headed off to Geneva airport with heads bursting with knowledge and plenty of ideas on how to improve the use of clinical papers within the company.
