Superego Café celebrated its 19th anniversary this April. Thank you to all the members at DHA for celebrating with us on the 19th Critical Appraisal event at DHA. Our return to Dubai this month for a bespoke workshop was met with an attendance of medical experts, nurses, pharmacists and dentists. The delegates were taken through the knowledge and skills of critical appraisal over two intensive days. A custom workbook with a range of exercises and clinical papers was used together with pre and post critical appraisal tests. The events this year were held at the Hyatt Regency and we included a new format that included basic statistics for doctors followed by ‘how to critically appraise your clinical papers’.
