Critical Appraisal Course in Cardiff

After running events simultaneously in Australia and USA earlier this week, we added a third country in the same week with our first Critical Appraisal One Day Course in Cardiff, Wales.

We chose the conveniently located Hilton Cardiff hotel as the venue, opposite the historic Cardiff Castle. In the comfortable surroundings of the hotel's conference area, delegates were given a comprehensive and practical tutorial on critical appraisal knowledge and skills.

Our delegates came from a number of specialties, including emergency medicine, surgery, general medicine, paediatrics and dentistry. Delegates included doctors, researchers and medical students, and came from as far afield as Dublin and Paris. Most of the delegates were preparing for postgraduate exams but there were also a few interested in just improving their critical appraisal skills.

The next Critical Appraisal One Day Course takes place in yet another country in August - Edinburgh, Scotland!
