Critical Appraisal Workshop arrives in Birmingham

Birmingham was the venue this weekend for the first Critical Appraisal Workshop outside London. In 2012 we are bringing our popular workshop to Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow and Dublin.

The format is exactly the same as the London workshops, with delegates given the knowledge and skills to read clinical papers with confidence and the opportunity to practice with exercises using real clinical papers. This workshop was also the first in which the new edition of The Doctor's Guide to Critical Appraisal was included in the delegate pack. Delegates included medical students, doctors and dentists, from a range of clinical specialties.

The feedback comments at the end of the workshop were excellent and demonstrated how much benefit had been derived from attending the workshop. Thanks to everybody who attended and good luck to everyone taking exams!
